JOSEPH LOVETT
President/Executive Producer/Director
Joseph Lovett established Lovett Productions in 1989, after more than a decade as top producer at ABC’s "20/20". In the ensuing years he has produced and directed hundreds of corporate films, numerous public service spots, and many primetime television specials and cable programs, as well as three highly acclaimed feature films. A clinical assistant Professor in Medicine and The Media in the Department of Preventive Medicine at the State University of New York’s Health Science Center, Lovett has also taught at The New School and lectured and published at the Kinsey Institute.
LOGAN SCHMID
Vice President & Head of Production
Logan joined Lovett Productions in 2004. After concentrating on post-production, he quickly transitioned into production, assisting on several HBO documentaries, including producing the graphics and animation packages for Too Hot Not to Handle, the critically acclaimed primer on global warming that premiered on Earth Day 2006. Since then he has been producing regularly for projects such as Save The Children, NYC Mayor’s Office and Going Blind. Additionally, Logan oversees the daily logistical, administrative and technical operations of the company. He graduated with honors from Columbia University.
JAMIE HOGAN
Production Associate
Since joining Lovett Productions in September of 2008, Jamie Hogan has assisted as Production Associate on recent projects including Going Blind and the New York Department of Health's Overdose Prevention Campaign. She joins us from Boston where she'd been working as a post-production editor since graduating from UMASS Amherst in 2005.
JAMES THOMAS
Production Intern
James joined Lovett Productions as an intern
at the start of 2009. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Wales, Swansea. He joins us from London, England.
